Taranaki born writer and historian Mary O’Connell now lives in Coogee, Sydney. She is currently completing her PhD on an Irish-Australian 20th century visionary, Eileen O’Connor (1892-1921), who co-founded Sydney’s Brown Nurses.

Roshanak Vahdani
Roshanak Vahdani was born in Tehran, Iran and emigrated with her family to Australia in 1979. She has been interested in the Persian poets since she was a teenager and over the last ten years, has closely studied the poetry of Rumi, Khayyam and Hafiz. She is particularly interested in the esoteric aspects of their work.
