Littleton at Napoleon Reef is a recently renovated cottage tucked away off the Great Western Highway about 15 minutes from the centre of Bathurst. While it can sleep 7 people, it is ideal for two to four people to relax, walk about , visit the local environs or just enjoy the scenery.
It has a queen bed with shower en-suite,
double bed with shower en-suite, divan and a single bed. A fully equipped
kitchen, sun room and toilet complete the essentials. Under cover parking
at the entrance protects you from the rain or the very occasional snowfall. The
pot belly stove is a delight in winter and the sun room offers a great place for
reading, cups of teas and checking on the garden.
A map of the house is available

Each bed has luxury percale sheets, electric blankets, blankets and doonas. Towels, soaps etc are all provided and the kitchen has breakfast provisions aplenty. A phone is provided for local calls and mobile coverage is sketchy (thanks Telstra and others!!).
The garden follows the seasons of which there are four distinct, and sometimes all on one day (as the song goes). The drought has hurt the garden but it is in a period of rejuvenation under the green fingers of Katrina, your host.
The cottage is on 30ha (68 acres) of bush and farmland which you are very welcome to walk over. You may see kangaroos, wallabies, rabbits and cattle going about their business. There are plenty of birds about, enjoying the food of the district. Currently they are enjoying pears from the very old trees in the old orchard area or apples. The young cattle enjoy the pears that fall to the ground as well.
There are other places to walk which Katrina or John can show you.
